No. Waifu Masters will always be by invitation only. All pre-orders are gated, limited, and subject to availability.
How do I request an invitation?
You may request an invite via the form on our website. Invitations are granted based on timing, availability, and referral performance. Not all requests will be approved.
When will my order ship?
All Waifu Masters Series 1 products are pre-orders. Estimated fulfillment begins inQ1 2026. You will be notified via email as production milestones are reached.
Can I cancel or refund my order?
No. All Waifu Masters products are final sale. By placing an order, you agree to a pre-order fulfillment timeline and waive standard refund windows, unless otherwise required by law.
Is there a Discord?
Yes, accessible only for those chosen few who've successfully pre-ordered. There is no publicly accessible Discord channel.
What is the Insider’s Pass?

Are the cards NFC-protected?
Yes. Every card is NFC-tagged with an encrypted chip. This chip authenticates your cards, prevents counterfeiting, and will integrate with the Waifu Masters app for digital tracking, lore unlocks, and future features. Each card is tied to our in-house database and cannot be replicated.
Is this a card game or a collectible series?
Both. Waifu Masters is built for collectors first, with a streamlined tactical game layered beneath. It is fully playable, but intentionally designed to be displayed, collected, and revered.
Where is Waifu Masters based?
Waifu Masters is a Japan-based team. Our U.S. debut is made possible through an official publishing partnership with The Otaku Box.
Will these cards ever be reprinted?
Never. Series 1 is permanently limited. Once pre-orders close, the print run is locked. No restocks, no second editions.
Do you use AI art?
Our artists use a variety of tools at every stage of the creation process. We do not distinguish nor discriminate based on the tools used to create, nor do we believe anyone else should. Our workflows are consistent with industry-standard practices in top Japanese art studios.
Who are your artists?
We feature a wide variety of art and artists, and different art pieces were created utilizing different tools and processes. For example, our collaboration card with cosplayer Giu Hellsing began as a hand drawn art piece on physical paper, which was layered over digitally utilizing multiple platforms. As a team, we enjoy exploring a range of mediums to convey our vision.
There was a time when artists were criticized for using Photoshop, Wacom tablets, or digital tools of any kind. Every shift in technology brings resistance from those who fear what they don’t understand, or what change it may bring. We believe progress in art should be explored, not condemned.
We stand by our policy of not discriminating against artists and the tools they use; and we firmly support their right to choose the tools with which to express themselves.
